I am looking to survive. Really. I know I am the wild card here. I hope to string together 8 miles during a leg. I hope that can change over the next 11 weeks.
As unofficial position assigner I am going to assume that Scooter is the only one who's going to beg for hills and I'm happy to accommodate him. That being said - if you haven't read through the race breakdown it's 36 legs broken down in groups of three with the intent being a 12 person team. Jason and my original thought when we looked into this would be to have each of you pull 6 legs (30-35) miles and we would each pull 9 legs (cause we are gluton for punishment). If anybody wants more miles let me know...I will reconfigure to what everyone has in mind. That being said if you each take 6 legs you will have "two groups" of three legs each. Let meknow if you prefer the legs to be split or together.
Here is the link to the leg breakdown.....in the race bible there are maps of the routes as well as graphing of the elevation changes. If anyone wants a special leg let me know. https://www.ragnarrelay.com/race/adirondacks/runner_chart

My goal is to not die, beyond that I'm open to anything.
ReplyDeleteAt what point did I become "Scooter?"
ReplyDeletewhat's that Scooter??
DeleteI think I have Scott Romanowski's phone number, and I think he lives out that way--ADKs--should he be asked to be the 6th, or a volunteer??
I will gladly give up a few of those legs.
